Visit the Elephant Transit Home, where orphaned baby elephants are rehabilitated and prepared for life in the wild.

10:30 AM – Hotel Pickup

Your friendly guide will pick you up from your hotel and begin the journey south along the beautiful coastal road.

Visit Elephant Transit Home

Arrive at the Elephant Transit Home in time to witness the mid-day feeding of rescued baby elephants. Learn how these young orphans are nurtured and prepared to return to the wild.

Lunch Break

Enjoy a delicious local lunch at a nearby restaurant (optional, cost not included). Your chauffeur can recommend a clean and trusted spot.

Arrive at Udawalawe National Park Entrance

Reach the national park entrance, where your private safari jeep 4x4 and tracker will be ready to take you on your wildlife journey.

02:30 PM – Start Safari at Udawalawe National Park

Set off on a thrilling 3-hour jeep safari through Udawalawe’s open grasslands and wetlands. Spot wild elephants, peacocks, crocodiles, spotted deer, and a wide range of birdlife in their natural habitat.

End Safari & Begin Return Journey
